Moments in bloom

Take a journey through the history and growth of Garlinge Phoenix Project CIC in Margate. Explore how an overgrown plot transformed into an inclusive sanctuary, hosting arts, youth groups, and friendships past and present.

Early roots and breaking ground

2018 Sue & Dave saw the potential offered by the abandoned site and approached TDC to take it over. In 2019 they slowly started to reclaim what had been left.

Flourishing workshops and creative clubs

As our roots deepened, so did our community programmes. From vibrant arts and crafts sessions to scout troop gatherings and quiet moments for mental wellbeing, the garden quickly became a lively hub for creativity and shared learning.

Growing together today and tomorrow

Today, our community garden is a thriving haven supporting students, vulnerable adults, and neighbours of all ages. We warmly invite you to visit our grounds, see our progress firsthand, or join us as a volunteer.
